Month: September 2012

A little more of October

Hello there! Well, the full reveal is supposed to happen on Monday. I’m keeping all my fingers & toes crossed that all products will have arrived by then, but it’s looking bleak. I hope you forgive me (or the courier companies carrying the goodies!!!) if it’s NOT here on time…

In the meantime, another little peek into the kit, here you go:

First sneaky peek on the October kit

Well well well… October is nearly here. I can tell you that is both exciting AND scary for me! Two of my suppliers have yet to deliver their products to me, and that makes me a little nervous… I am doing everything in my power to have it all here by 5th October, but just warning you a little that we might be a little late this month. Not ideal, but you will LOVE what’s in the kit I promise!

So – a little sneak perhaps? Here we go, first glimpse of the October kit:

True Friend

I have another LO to share today, made by the September kit “Teal Your Story”. I really, really love the colours in this kit. So fresh and vibrant!

Ever since I started ordering the products from the kit, I have been wanting to use the little chevron bag in the add-on kit. I love the end result on this LO, hope you love it too!

Fly…

I managed to get a LO done, FINALLY, with “Teal Your Story”. I started looking and ordering online for this kit quite some time ago now, and have been longing to create with these goodies. And finally, after posting all the kits on Wednesday, I have had some time to sit down and PLAY!

Here is what I did, my first LO with the September kit!

Please welcome September’s Guest DT

NIC HOWARD

A scrapbooker for fourteen years, Nic Howard lives in New Zealand with her husband Paul, and their three children. Although residing in the total opposite end of the world, Nic still finds herself involved in the scrapbooking scene internationally;  traveling to teach at large international conventions and events, tutoring online alongside the amazing staff at Big Picture Classes and working with manufacturers such as Prima Marketing for magazine, catalogue and trade show artwork. Since her debut in the scrapbooking scene, she has had hundreds of layouts published in international books and magazines as well as in advertising and galleries of the manufacturers she works for.

Nic’s style can be described as shabby vintage with a lot of details and intricate layers. She loves cutting, crafting and altering paper to create textural and dimensional layouts. When Nic isn’t scrapbooking she can be found spending time with her family at the beach in summer and in front of the fire with a good book in winter. You can find out more about Nic here. http://nichoward.typepad.com

I am of course beyond thrilled to have Nic showcasing my first kit. Here is a LO & a card, both using mainly the September kit “Teal Your Story”:
