Month: April 2014

Another look into May

Here’s another peek at the May Scrapbook kit:

May kit sneak

Hi all!! May is upon us and here is a sneak of the Scrapbook kit. Unfortunately I am still waiting for the PL kit products to arrive, so you will have to wait for the sneak for that!

Last LO from Amélie

Hi there, here is Amélie and today I will share with you my last layout. I wanted to thank Annelie for giving me the opportunity to scrap with her kit. I really loved to work with this month kit, this kit is so versatile that you can make such different creations. For this last page, I played with layering. I love to overlay papers, this is a good tip to use scraps.

I hope you will like this layout.

Have a good day!

More inspiration from Amélie

Amélie has yet again created an amazing LO with the April kit “Back to Basics”. I love the whimsical feel she has created in the LO, from a kit that is not very whimsical at first glance!

Please Welcome our April GDT

My name is Amélie Mordret. I’m 37 years old.  I live in France near the town of Le Mans.  I’m married and have two boys. The eldest is 9 years old and the youngest is 3.

I started scrapbooking after the birth of my first son. I wanted to make him a baby book, and I have been addicted ever since.

I have always been really creative, and I enjoy drawing & painting. Scrapbooking has been a great avenue for me to express my creative side. I love making layouts and cards and occasionally mini-books

I scrap whenever I can find free time.  It allows me to get away from the stress of my professional life. When I am working on a project ! I focus on my picture and everything comes magically!

I don’t really have a particular style, it really varies from project to project.  I just love playing with different papers and trying new techniques.  My projects always include stitching and lots of layering.

I am thrilled to have Amélie onboard, here is her first LO with the April kit:
