I want to say a HUGE thank you to Michelle Frisby for the amazing work she did with the April kit. So much inspiration! And isn’t it great how much you can actually do with ONE monthly kit? Today we get the last project from Michelle, a fantastic LO. In Michelle’s own words:
Another layout to share … I’ve cut out some of the film strip paper and cut the paper into the film strips and laid it down randomly on my backing 12×12 patterned paper. I’ve grabbed a glimmermist and merrily sprayed away.
I’ve removed film strips and waited for my paper to dry. I’ve then randomly placed my strips as a background, added muslin, corrugated cardboard from the handy pizza box – want not, waste not and then I have cut out numerous pictures from the camera paper and used these as layers. I have punched out two tags and tucked them under my photos to use as journalling spots. Then I have adhered a piece of the chipboard film strip over my photos, to try and lose some of the background people, shall we say whilst highlighting the photo of my daughter.
I’ve run a key metal die through my Cuttlebug and tied two of them together with twine … why did I do that and randomly leave them sitting on my layout … to remember that photos are the key to remembering so many special moments in our lives in years to come … the photos are quite often the trigger to those memories.
So that’s it … my kit is all but gone … a few bitsers left over, not many to be honest, but I’m quite partial to playing with the bitsers and adding a little bit of this and a little bit of that to make those bitsers go just a little bit further.
If you love what you have seen in this month’s kit [and you should] and think to yourself, what do I have to do to snaffle one of these kits every month without having to worry about missing out … flick Annelie an email and ask her to put one aside with your name on it or flick her an email if you want to go on the waiting list. I’m not quite sure if she has any spots available at the moment to become a subscriber, but if you don’t ask, you won’t know – she may even have a couple of ‘casual’ kits available. Ask her, go on, you know you want to!!!!
Honestly with the goodies that came in my pizza box with April’s kit, you truly won’t be disappointed.
A huge thank you Annelie for inviting me to guest design with Crazy Monday Kits this month. It has been both an honour and a privilege. It truly has.
Thank you …
Happy creating everyone.
